 続いて祈りの問題が持ちだされると───

 　「祈りとは何かを理解するには、その目的をはっきりさせなければなりません。ただ単に願い事を口にしたり、決まり文句を繰り返すだけでは何の効果もありません。テープを再生する様な調子で陳腐な言葉を大気中に放っても、耳を傾ける人はいませんし、訴える力を持った波動を起こすこともできません。

　私たちは型にはまった文句には興味はありません。その文句に誠意がこもっておらず、それを口にする人みずからがその内容に無頓着であることが普通です。永い間それをロボットのように繰り返しているに過ぎないからです。

　真の祈りにはそれなりの効用があることは事実です。しかし、いかなる精神的行為も、身をもって果たさねばならない地上的労力の代用とはなり得ません。

　祈りは、義務を回避しようとする臆病者の避難場所ではありません。人間として為すべき仕事の代用とはなりません。責任を逃れる手段ではありません。いかなる祈りにもその力はありませんし、絶対的な因果律を少しも変えることはできません。

　人のためにという動機、自己の責任と義務を自覚した時に油然として湧き出る祈り以外は、すべて無視されるがよろしい。その後に残るのが心霊的（ｻｲｷｯｸ）ないし霊的（ｽﾋﾟﾘﾁｭｱﾙ ※） な行為であるがゆえに自動的に応答のある祈りです。

自動的ですから、その応答は必ずしも本人の期待した通りのものではありません。その祈りの行為によって生じたバイブレーションが生み出す、自然な結果です。


サイキックというのは五感の延長としての、オカルト的な超能力が生じさせるもので、物質次元の中に入る。スピリチュアルというのは、物質次元から脱して霊的次元のエネルギーや法則が生ぜしめるもの───訳者。

　ところでキリスト教の〝主の祈り〟のことですが、あのように型にはまった祈りは、人類にとって何の益ももたらさないことを断言します。

単なる形式的行為は、その起源においては宿っていたかも知れない潜在的な力まで奪ってしまいます。儀式の一環としては重宝かも知れませんが、人間にとっては何の役にも立ちません。

　そもそも〝神〟とは法則なのです。自分で解決できる程度の要求で神の御手を煩わせることはありません。それに、ナザレのイエスがそれを口にした （とされる） 時代から二千年近くも過ぎました。

その間に人類も成長し、進化し、人生について多くのことを悟っております。イエスは決してあの文句の通りを述べたわけではありませんが、いずれにしても当時のユダヤ人に分かり易い言葉で述べたことは事実です。

　今のあなた方には、父なる神が天にましますものでないことくらい、お分かりになるでしょう。完全な摂理である以上、神は全宇宙、全生命に宿っているのです。この宇宙のどこを探しても、完璧な法則が働いていない場所は一つとしてありません。

神は地獄のドン底にいるわけでも、天国のいちばん高いところに鎮座ましますものでもありません。大霊として宇宙全体にあまねく存在し、宇宙の生命活動の一つ一つとなって顕現しております。

　〝御国の来まさんことを〟などと祈る必要はありません。地上天国の時代は、いつかは来ます。かならず来るのです。しかし、それがいつ来るかは霊の世界と協力して働いている人たち、一日も早く招来したいと願っている人たちの努力一つに掛っております。

そういう時代が来ることは間違いないのです。しかし、それを速めるか遅らせるかは、あなた方人間の努力いかんに掛っているということです」

　肩書（ラベル）はどうでもいいのです。形式はどうでもいいのです。口先だけの文句はどうでもいいのです。大切なのは〝行為〟です。どういうことをしているかです。つまり各自の日常の生活そのものです。

　私たちは因果律という絶対的な摂理を説きます。つまり誰一人として神の摂理のウラをかくことはできません。ごまかすことはできません。自分が自分の救い主であり、贖い主であり、自分の過ちには自分が罰を受け、善行に対する報酬も自分が受けると説くのです。

　また、神の摂理は機械的に機能し、自動的に作用すると説きます。すなわち、親切・寛容・同情・奉仕の行為が自動的に、それ相応の結果をもたらして霊性を高め、反対に利己主義・罪悪・不寛容の精神は自動的に霊性を下げます。この法則は変えようにも変えられないのです。みっともない執行猶予も、安価な赦免もありません。

　かくして私たちは、常に神の永遠の自然法則、絶対に狂うことも過つこともない法則、地位の高い低いに関わりなく、すべての存在に等しく働く法則に、忠誠と感謝の念を捧げるものです。

誰一人として等閑（なおざり）　にされることはありません。誰一人として独りぼっちの者はいません。法則の働きの及ばない者。範囲からはみ出る者など、一人もいません。あなたがこの世に存在するという事実そのものが、神の摂理の証しです。

　人間の法則は機能しないことがあります。改められることがあります。人間の成長と発達に伴って視野が広がり、知識が無知をなくし、環境が変化するに伴って新たな法令が要請されると、従来の法律が廃止されたり、別の法律と置き換えられたりすることもあります。



　しかし、神の法則に新しい法則が付け加えられことは絶対にありません。改正もありません。解釈上の変化も生じません。いま機能している法則は、これまでずっと機能してきた法則であり、これからも変わることなく機能してまいります。一瞬の休みもなく機能し、そして不変です」
