催眠術のメカニズムと危険性


―催眠術は研究の対象とするに値するものでしょうか。

術師が善意の人で、自分の能力を役立てたいという願望から発しているのであれば問題ないでしょう。催眠術というのは魂の隠れた能力のほんのうわべを軽くたたいている程度のものに過ぎません。

―その隠れた能力というのは何なのでしょう？

私のいう内在する大霊と同じものです。内部に潜む霊力を発揮すれば克服できない困難はないと申し上げている、その霊力です。これは、本来は日常生活での高潔な心がけと滅私の行いによって霊性を高めることで発揮すべきものです。俗に堕するほど、反応するバイブレーションも低くなります。反対に自己犠牲の要素が高まるほど、反応するバイブレーションも高まり、内部の神性が発揮されるようになります。

―その内部の神性というのは、それ自体が独立した思考と行動をする別個の存在でしょうか。

違います。今あなたがその物的身体を通して表現している精神の質によって条件づけられております。通常の地上生活を送っている場合のことです。それが催眠状態になると違ってきます。催眠術師はいわば看守のようなもので、牢のカギを開けて囚人を解き放つ役をしていると思えばよろしい。 

術師が正しい意図のもとにそうするのであれば神性を刺激することになるので、良いことをしていることになります。が、神性とは反対の獣性を刺激することもあり得ます。いずれにしても地上時代に発揮する意識は、死後に発揮していく大きな自我のほんの一部に過ぎないことを知っておいてください。

―そういうことを聞かされると、いささか不満の念を禁じ得ませんね。

そうでしょう。でも、不満に思うことは結構なことです。うぬぼれから生じる満足は進歩の敵です。

―霊媒能力を発達させる手段として催眠術を活用することは可能でしょうか。また、あなたはそれを奨められますか。

それは、これまでも試みられて来たことです。が、いったん指導霊が付くと地上の催眠術師の出番はなくなります。その種の力を霊媒が受けつけなくなります。その意味で霊媒現象には奨められません。最初から交霊会でスタートして徐々に霊力の影響を受けて行く方がよいと思います。

―催眠術を霊能発揮の近道とは見ておられないわけですね？

もちろんです。この道に“近道”はありません。これは霊とその能力に関わることです。それが今日の段階まで発達するのに何百万年も掛かっているのです。これまで地上世界に不幸が絶えないのは、霊的な側面を無視してきたからです。霊に関わることは慎重な養成とゆっくりとした成長が肝心です。

-Is hypnosis worth studying?


If the surgeon is a well-meaning person and originates from the desire to use his abilities, then there should be no problem. Hypnosis is just a slap on the surface of the soul's hidden abilities.

-What is that hidden ability?

It's the same as what I call the inner spirit. It is the spiritual power that says that there is no difficulty that cannot be overcome if the spiritual power hidden inside is exerted. This should be demonstrated by enhancing spirituality through the noble minds and defeats of everyday life. The more profane it is, the less vibrating it reacts. On the contrary, the higher the element of self-sacrifice, the higher the reaction vibration, and the more the inner divinity is exhibited.

-Is the divinity within it a separate entity that itself thinks and acts independently?

wrong. It is now conditioned by the quality of the mind you are expressing through your physical body. This is the case when you are living a normal life on the ground. It's different when it's hypnotic. You can think of a hypnotist as a jailer, unlocking the prison and releasing the prisoners. If the surgeon does so with the right intention, he is doing good because it stimulates divinity. However, it can also stimulate the beast nature, which is the opposite of divinity. In any case, please be aware that the consciousness exerted in the earthly era is only a part of the large ego that is exerted after death.

-When you hear that kind of thing, you can't help but feel a little dissatisfied.

do not you. But it's fine to be dissatisfied. Satisfaction that arises from conceit is an enemy of progress.

-Is it possible to use hypnosis as a means of developing spiritual abilities? Also, can you recommend it?

That is something that has been tried in the past. However, once the spirit guide is attached, the hypnotist on the ground will not be in play. The medium will not accept that kind of power. In that sense, it is not recommended for medium phenomena. I think it is better to start with a séance from the beginning and gradually be influenced by spiritual power.

-You don't see hypnosis as a shortcut to psychic performance, right?

of course. There are no “shortcuts” on this road. This involves the spirit and its abilities. It has taken millions of years to develop to this stage. Until now, the unhappiness of the earthly world has been constant because we have ignored the spiritual side. Careful training and slow growth are essential for being involved in the spirit.
