ここで、根源的摂理である因果律について、霊言集の各所で述べているものを集めて紹介しておきましょう。

　因果律の働きは完璧です。原因があれば数学的正確さをもって結果が生じます。その原因と結果のつながりに寸毫たりとも影響を及ぼす力をもつ者は一人もいません。刈り取る作物はまいた種から生じているのです。 

人間はみな、地上生活での行ないの結果を魂に刻み込んでおり、それを消し去ることは絶対にできません。その行ないのなかに過ちがあれば、その行為の結果はすでに魂に刻み込まれており、その一つ一つについて、然るべき償いを終えるまでは霊性の進化は得られません。

　因果律は根源的なものであり、基盤であり、変更不能のものです。自分が種をまいたものは自分で刈り取る──これが絶対的摂理なのです。原因があれば、それ相当の結果が数学的正確さをもって生じます。それ以外にはあり得ないのです。 

かわって、その結果が新たな原因となって結果を生み出し、それがまた原因となる──この因果関係が途切れることなく続くのです。咲く花は、間違いなく、まいた種に宿されていたものです。

　無限の変化に富む大自然の現象は、大きいものも小さいものも、単純なものも複雑なものも、みな因果律にしたがっているのです。だれ一人として、また何一つとして、その因果関係に干渉することはできません。 

もしも原因に不相応の結果が出ることがあるとすれば、地上界も物的宇宙も、霊的宇宙も大混乱に陥ります。私の言う大霊もあなたの言うゴッドも、創造神も絶対神も、愛と英知の権化でもなく全存在の極致でもなくなります。

　宇宙は、絶対的公正によって支配されています。もしも犯した過ちが、呪文やマントラを口にするだけで消し去ることができるとしたら、摂理が完全でなかったことになります。自然の大原則が簡単に変えられたことになるからです。

　大自然は、人間的な願望におかまいなく、定められたコースをたどります。成就すべき目的があるからであり、それはこれからも変わることはありません。 

人間も、その大霊の意志と調和した生き方をしている限りは、恵みある結果を手にすることができます。あなたの心の持ち方次第で、大自然は豊かな実りをもたらしてくれるということです。

　善い行ないをすれば、それだけ霊性が増します。利己的な行ないをすれば、それだけ霊性が悪化します。それが自然の摂理であり、これだけはごまかすことができません。死の床にあっていくら懺悔の言葉を述べても、それで悪行がもたらす結果から逃れられるというものではありません。

　どの法則も大法則の一部です。いずれも大霊の計画の推進のためにこしらえられたものですから、全体としての調和を保ちながら働きます。 

これは、物質界の人間は男性・女性の区別なく、自分が犯した罪は自分の日常生活における苦難のなかで自分で償うしかないこと、それを自分以外のだれかに転嫁できるかに説く誤った教義（注２）は捨て去らなければいけないことを教えています。

　人間は自分自身が、自分の魂の庭師です。英知と優雅さ、美しさといった霊性の豊かさを身につけるうえで必要なものは、すべて大霊が用意してくださっています。道具は全部そろっているのです。あとは各自がそれをいかに賢明に、いかに上手に使うかにかかっています。

　大霊は無限なる存在であり、あなた方はその大霊の一部です。完全な信念をもって摂理に忠実な生活を送れば、大霊の豊かな恵みにあずかることができます。これは地上のだれについても、例外なく言えることです。 

真理に飢えた人が完全な信念に燃えれば、きっと然るべき回答を得ることでしょう。

　摂理とはそういうものです。何事にも摂理があります。その摂理に忠実であれば、求める結果が得られます。もし得られないとしたら、それはその人の心がけが摂理にかなっていないことの証しでしかありません。 

歴史書をひもといてごらんなさい。最下層の極貧の出でありながら、正しい心がけで真理を求めて、決して裏切られることのなかった人は少なくありません。求めようとせずに不平をかこつ人を例にあげて、なぜあの人は…といった疑問を抱いてはなりません。

　もう一つの摂理をお教えしましょう。代償を支払わずして、価値あるものを手にすることはできないということです。優れた霊媒現象を手にするには、霊的感性を磨かねばなりません。それが代償です。それをせずに金銭を蓄えることに専念すれば、それにも代償を支払わなければいけなくなります。

　金儲けに目がくらんで本来の使命をおろそかにすれば、この地上では物的な豊かさを手にすることができるかもしれませんが、こちらへ来てから本来の自我がいかに貧しいかを思い知らされます。

　訳注１──シルバーバーチが「私たち（we）」と言うときは、自分を中心とした霊団を指す場合と、シルバーバーチの言う「liberated beings」、つまり「物」による束縛から解放された高級霊を指す場合とがある。ここでは後者である。

The function of causality is perfect. If there is a cause, the result will come out with mathematical accuracy. No one has the power to influence the connection between the cause and the effect. The crops we cut come from the seeds we sow. All human beings have imprinted the results of their earthly life in their souls, which can never be erased. If there is a mistake in the act, the result of the act is already imprinted in the soul, and for each one, the evolution of spirituality cannot be obtained until the appropriate compensation is completed.


Causality is fundamental, foundational, and immutable. What you sow is reaped by yourself-this is the absolute rule. If there is a cause, the result is mathematically accurate. There is no other way. Instead, the result becomes a new cause that produces the result, which in turn causes it-this causal relationship continues uninterrupted. The blooming flowers are undoubtedly the ones that were inhabited by the seeds that were sown.


The infinitely varied phenomena of nature, large and small, simple and complex, all follow the law of causality. No one, or anything, can interfere with that causal relationship. If the cause can have disproportionate consequences, the terrestrial world, the physical universe, and the spiritual universe will be in turmoil. The Great  Spirit I say, the god you say, the creator God, the absolute God, neither the incarnation of love and wisdom, nor the culmination of all beings.


The universe is dominated by absolute justice. If the mistakes you make can be erased by just saying a spell or mantra, then the providence is not perfect. This is because the principles of nature have been easily changed.


Nature follows a set course regardless of human desires. Because there is a purpose to be fulfilled, it will not change. Humans can also have graceful results as long as they live in harmony with the will of the Spirit. Nature can bring abundant fruit, depending on how you hold your mind.


If you do good deeds, your spirituality will increase. The more selfish you do, the worse your spirituality will be. That is the providence of nature, and this alone cannot be deceived. No matter how much you say confession on the bed of death, it does not mean that you can escape the consequences of wrongdoing.


Every law is part of the general law. All of them are designed to promote the spiritual plan, so they work in harmony as a whole. This explains that human beings in the material world have no choice but to atone for their sins in their daily lives, regardless of whether they are male or female, and whether they can pass it on to someone other than themselves. It teaches that false doctrine (Note 2) must be thrown away.


Human beings are themselves gardeners of their souls. The Great Spirit has prepared everything necessary to acquire the richness of spirituality such as wisdom, elegance, and beauty. We have all the tools. The rest depends on how wisely and how well you use it.


The spirit is infinite, and you are part of that spirit. If you live a life that is faithful to providence with complete belief, you can enjoy the abundant grace of the Spirit. This is true for anyone on earth without exception. If a truth-hungry person burns with complete belief, he will surely get the right answer.


That's what providence is. Everything has providence. If you adhere to that providence, you will get the results you want. If not, it is only a proof that the person's mind is not providential. Look at the history book. There are many people who have never been betrayed by seeking the truth with the right intentions, even though they are from the lowest level of extreme poverty. Don't ask, for example, a person who complains without asking, why he is ...


Let me tell you another providence. You can't get something of value without paying the price. To get a good medium phenomenon, you have to improve your spiritual sensibility. That is the price. If you focus on saving money without doing that, you will have to pay for it as well.


If you are blinded to making money and neglect your original mission, you may be able to obtain physical wealth on this earth, but after coming here, you realize how poor your original ego is. Will be done.
