シルバーバーチとは何者か
私は荒野に呼ばわる声です。
神の使徒以外の何者でもありません。私が誰であるかということが一体何の意味があるのでしょう。
私がどの程度の霊であるかは私のやっていることで判断していただきたい。
私の言葉が、私の誠意が、私の判断が、要するにあなた方人間世界における私の仕事が暗闇に迷える人々の心の灯となり慰めとなったら、それだけで私はしあわせなのです。
これはある日の交霊会でメンバーの一人がシルバーバーチの地上での身元について尋ねた時の答えである。シルバーバーチがインディアンではないこと、本来の高遠の世界と地上との間の橋わたしとして一人のインディアンの幽体を使用しているところの、高級霊団の最高指揮者であるということまでは、われわれにも知れている。が、これまで好奇心から幾度地上時代の実名を尋ねても、まだ一度も明かしてくれていない。
