前章では人類の始源について、シルバーバーチの霊言とオーラに関する科学的データに照らしながら考究してみました。本章ではその範囲を宇宙全体に広げてみましょう。例によって、まずシルバーバーチの霊言をいくつか引用してみましょう。

「宇宙は偶然によって支配されているのではありません。法則と秩序によって支配されているのです。宇宙のどの方角へ目を向けても───星雲の世界の広大さや地平線の彼方を知るために望遠鏡を向けても、あるいは顕微鏡で極微の世界の創造物をのぞいて見ても───そこに存在するものは全て不変不滅の自然法則によって支配されております。
あなた方は偶然の産物ではないということです。原因と結果とが寸分の狂いもなく計算されてはたらく秩序整然たる宇宙に〝偶然〟の入る余地はありません」
「そうした規則ないしは摂理は、全生命を創造した大霊がその統治のために定めたものです。構想においても組織においても完璧です。全生命は本質的には霊ですから、摂理も霊的なものです。霊力は目に見えません。いかなる人間的尺度でも計れません。長さもありません。
広さもありません。高さもありません。重さもありません。色もありません。味もありません。臭いもありません。科学者、化学者、医学者がそれぞれの分野でいくら探しても、生命の動力である霊の居どころは見つかりません」
「大霊は全能ですと申し上げるのは、その霊的な力が宇宙そのものと、そこに存在するあらゆる形態の生命を支配する摂理にゆだねられているからです。
そのい霊力が火炎となって燃えさかっていた地球に生命の息吹を吹き込んだのです。人間を泥の塊から神性を秘めた霊的存在にまで引き上げたのです」
「霊力は魂がまとう衣です。全生命を創造し、自然現象のあらゆる動きと突然の変化をコントロールする力、四季の巡りを規制し、一つひとつの種子、一つひとつの植物、一つひとつの花、一本一本の低木、一本一本の高木の成長を管理する力、要するに、ありとあらゆる側面の生命進化の全機構を管理する力が霊力なのです」
