霊力とはどんなものでしょうか。
「霊の力は目には見えません。人間界で用いられているいかなる計量器でも計れないものです。長さもなく、幅もなく、高さもなく、重さもなく色もなく、容積もなく味もにおいもありません。
ですから常識的な地上の計量法でいけば霊力というのはこの世には存在しないことになります。つまり実在とは五感で捉えられないものと決めて掛っている唯物的自然科学者とっては、霊力は存在しないことになります。
しかし、愛は目に見えず、耳にも聞こえず、色もなく味もなく寸法もないのに、立派に実感があります。それは深い愛の感動を体験したものが証明してくれます。確かに愛の力は強烈です。しかし、霊の力はそれよりも無限大に強烈です。
あなた方が生き、呼吸し、考え、反省し、判断し、決断を下し、あれこれと思いをめぐらすのも、霊の力があればこそです。物を見、音を聞き、動き回り、考え、言葉をしゃべるのも、霊の力があればこそです。あなた方の行動のすべて、存在のすべては霊の力のお陰です。
物質界のすべて、そしてその肉体も、生命力にあふれた霊力の流入によって、存在と目的と指針と生活とを与えられているのです。
物質界のどこを探しても、意識の秘密は見つかりません。科学者、化学者、医学者がいくら努力してみたところで、生命の根源は解明されません。それは物質そのものの中には存在しないからです。物質は、それが、一時的に間借りしている宿に過ぎません。
霊の力は、あなた方が〝神〟と呼んでいるもの、そのものなのです。もっとも、その神を正しく理解していただけないかもしれませんし、誤解してその意味を限定してしまっておられるかもしれません。ともかくその霊力が、かつては火の固まりであったものを今日ご覧になっておられるような生命あふれる緑の地球にしたのです。
その霊力が土塊から身体をこしらえて、それに生命を吹き込んだのです。魂がまとう衣服です。地上のあらゆる生命を創造し、自然界のあらゆる動き、あらゆる変化を支配し、四季を調節し、一粒の種子、一本の植物、一輪の花、一本の樹木の成長にまで関与している力、要するに千変万化の進化の機構に全責任を負っているのが、霊力なのです。
それが雄大であるゆえんは、物質界に限られていないところにあります。すなわち無数の物的現象を通じて絶え間なく働いているだけでなく、見えざる世界の霊的活動のすべて、今のあなた方には到底その存在を知ることのできない、幾重にもつながった高い界層、そしてそこで展開する、これまたあなた方の想像を絶した光輝あふれる生命現象に至るまで、その霊力が支配しているのです。
しかし、いかに雄大であっても、あるいは、いかにその活動が驚異的であるといっても、それにも制約があります。すなわち、それが顕現するには、それが適した器、道具、霊体、通路、霊媒───どうお呼びになっても構いません───そうしたものが無ければならないということです。
壮大な霊の流れも、そうしたものによる制約を受けるのです。地上にどの程度のものが流れ込むのかは、人間側が決定づけるということになります。
私がつねづね、心配の念をはらいなさい、自信を持ちなさい、堅忍不抜の精神で生きなさい。神は絶対にお見捨てにならないから、と申し上げてきたのは、そうした雰囲気、そうした条件のもとでこそ霊力が働きやすいからです。
地上的な力はいつかは衰え、朽ち果てます。人間が築く王国は儚いものです。今日は高い地位にいても、明日は転落するかもしれません。
しかし霊の王国は決して滅びることはありません。霊の尊厳は不変です。神の力は決して衰えません。ただし、その働きの程度を決定づけるのはあなた方であり、現にいつも決定づけております。
スピリチュアリズムを少しばかりかじった人は、よく、なぜ霊界の方からこうしてくれないのか、ああしてくれないのかと文句を言うようですが、実際には、そうしたことを言う人ほど、霊界からそうしてあげるための条件を整えてくれないものです。
この苦悩に満ちた世界、暗闇と不安におおわれた世界にあって、どうか皆さんには灯台の光となっていただきたい。あなた方の自信にあふれた生きざまを見て人々が近づき、苦悩の最中における憩いの場、聖域、波静かな港を発見することが出来るようにしてあげていただきたい。
皆さんはそういう人たちの心の嵐を静め、魂の静寂を取り戻してあげる霊力をお持ちなのです」

"The power of the spirit is invisible. It cannot be measured by any measuring instrument used in the human world. It has no length, no width, no height, no weight, no color, no volume. It has no taste or smell.
Therefore, according to the common sense measurement method on earth, spiritual power does not exist in this world. In other words, there is no spiritual power for a materialistic natural scientist who decides that existence cannot be grasped by the five senses.
However, love is invisible, inaudible, colorless, tasteless, and dimensionless, but it feels great. It is proved by those who have experienced the deep emotion of love. Certainly the power of love is strong. But the power of the spirit is infinitely stronger than that.
It is only with the power of the spirit that you live, breathe, think, reflect, judge, make decisions, and ponder this and that. Seeing things, listening to sounds, moving around, thinking, and speaking words are only possible with the power of the spirit. All your actions and all your beings are due to the power of the spirit.
Everything in the physical world, and its body, is given existence, purpose, guidance, and life by the influx of vital spiritual power.
No matter where you look in the material world, you cannot find the secret of your consciousness. No matter how hard scientists, chemists, and medical scientists try, the origin of life cannot be elucidated. Because it does not exist in the substance itself. Matter is just an inn that it is temporarily renting.
The power of the spirit is what you call "God". However, you may not understand the god correctly, or you may have misunderstood and limited its meaning. Anyway, that spiritual power has turned what was once a mass of fire into a green earth full of life as you see it today.
The spiritual power created the body from the earthen mass and brought it to life. It is the clothes that the soul wears. It creates every life on earth, controls every movement and every change in nature, regulates the four seasons, and is involved in the growth of one seed, one plant, one flower, one tree. It is spiritual power that is entirely responsible for the power, in short, the evolutionary mechanism of the ever-changing world.
The reason why it is magnificent is that it is not limited to the material world. That is, not only are we working constantly through innumerable physical phenomena, but all the spiritual activities of the invisible world, a high layer of connected high worlds that you can never know of their existence. And that spiritual power is in control of the unimaginable and brilliant life phenomena that unfold there.
However, no matter how magnificent or how amazing the activity is, there are restrictions. In other words, in order for it to manifest, it must have the appropriate vessels, tools, spiritual bodies, passages, mediums ─── whatever you call it ─── such things.
The magnificent flow of spirits is also constrained by such things. It is up to the human side to decide how much will flow to the ground.
I always be worried, be confident, live in a persevering spirit. I have said that God will never abandon him because it is easy for his spiritual power to work under such an atmosphere and conditions.
The earthly power will eventually weaken and decay. The kingdom built by humans is ephemeral. Even if you are in a high position today, you may fall tomorrow.
However, the spiritual kingdom will never perish. The dignity of the spirit is immutable. God's power never diminishes. However, it is you who determine the degree of work, and in fact it always determines.
People who have a little bit of spiritualism often complain about why the spirit world doesn't do this, or why they don't do it, but in reality, the more people say that, the more they do. It doesn't set the conditions to do it.
