私は自分にこう言い聞かせているのです───今の自分に理解できない部分をきっと同じ完全なる愛によって管理されているに相違ない。 

もしそうでなかったら宇宙の存在は無意味となり不合理な存在となってしまう。 

もしこれまで自分が見てきたものが完全なる愛の証であるならば、もしこれまでに自分が理解してきたものが完全なる愛の証であるならば、まだ見ていないもの、あるいはまだ理解できずにいるものも又、完全なる愛の証であるに違いない、と。

　ですから、もしも私の推理に何らかの間違いを見出されたならば、どうぞ遠慮なく指摘していただいて結構です。 

私はよろこんでそれに耳を傾けるつもりです。 

私だっていつどこで間違いを犯しているか分からないという反省が常にあるのです。 

無限なる宇宙のほんの僅かな側面しか見ていないこの私に絶対的な断言がどうしてできましょう。

ましてや地上の言語を超越した側面の説明は皆目できません。 

こればかりは克服しようにも克服できない、宿命的な障壁です。 

そこで私は、基本的な真理から出発してまずそれを土台とし、それでは手の届かないことに関しては、それまでに手にした確実な知識に基づいた信仰をおもちなさい、と申し上げるのです。

　基本的真理にしがみつくのです。 

迷いの念の侵入を許してはなりません。これだけは間違いないと確信するものにしがみつき、謎だらけに思えてきた時は、ムキにならずに神の安らぎと力とが宿る魂の奥の間に引き込もることです。 

そこに漂う静寂と沈黙の中にその時のあなたにとって必要なものを見出されることでしょう。

　常に上を見上げるのです。 

うつ向いてはなりません。 

うなだれる必要はどこにもありません。 

あなたの歩む道に生じることの一つ一つがあなたという存在を構成していくタテ糸でありヨコ糸なのです。 

これまでにあなたの本性の中に織り込まれたものはすべて神の用意された図案（ﾊﾟﾀｰﾝ）にしたがって織られていることを確信なさることです。

I'm telling myself this ─── I'm sure that the part that I don't understand now is managed by the same perfect love. If this is not the case, the existence of the universe will be meaningless and irrational.
