　シルバー・バーチによる交霊会は正式の名称をハンネン・スワッハー・ホームサークルと言いましたが、その第一回が何年何月に開かれたのかは明らかでありません。公表されていないし、もしかしたら記録すらないかも知れません。

というのは霊媒のバーバネル氏は、その会があくまで私的な集まりだからという理由で、初めのころは霊言そのものの公表すら避けていたのです。

　バーバネルという人は自分を表に出すことを徹底的に嫌った人で、その態度は七十九才で他界するまで変わりませんでした。

ところが真の意味で最良の親友だったハンネン・スワッハーは当時英国新聞界の法王とまで言われたほどの大物で、バーバネルとは対照的に、英国の著名人でスワッハーの名を知らない人はまずいないと言ってよいほどでした。

　スワッハーはその知名度を利用して各界の名士を交霊会に招待し、また招待された方は相手がスワッハーとなると断わるわけにもいかず、かならず出席しました。

中には　「よし、オレがバーバネルのバケの皮をはがしてやる」とか、「シルバー・バーチとかいうインデアンをオレが徹底的に論破してやる」といった意気込みで乗り込んで来る連中もいたようですが、バーバネルが入紳してシルバー・バーチが語り始めると、その威厳ある雰囲気に圧倒されて、来た時の意気込みもどこへやら、すっかり感動して帰って行ったそうです。

　こうしたバーバネルとスワッハーという対照的な性格のコンビは実にうまい取り合わせで、それにシルバー・バーチが加わった三人組（ﾄﾘｵ）は多分、いや間違いなく、二人の出生以前から組まれた計画だったと想像されます。

バーバネルなくしてはシルバー・バーチもあり得ず、スワッハーなくしては霊言集の出版もなかったはずです。

　はじめ公表に消極的だったバーバネルをスワッハーが説き伏せて、霊言が『サイキック・ニューズ』紙に連載されるようになってほぼ半世紀が過ぎました。

そして私がその心霊紙で、霊視家によるシルバー・バーチの肖像画と共に初めて霊言に接して、一種異様な感動を覚えながら貪り読んで以来、三十年近い歳月が流れました。

　そして一九八一年七月にバーバネル氏が急逝した時、私はこれでついにシルバー・バーチの霊言にもピリオドが打たれたかと思い、その心の拠りどころとして来ただけに残念無念さも一入（ﾋﾄｼｵ）でした。

また、何か一つの大きな時代が終って自分一人が残されたような、言葉では形容しようのないさみしさをしみじみと味わったものでした。

　が、その霊訓は霊言集として残されている。それを日本の有志の方々───シルバー・バーチの言う〝それを理解できるところまで来ている人々〟に紹介することが私の使命であるかも知れないという自覚が私の魂を鼓舞し続け、それが本稿となって実現しました。

　シルバー・バーチ霊言集は延べにして二千ページ程度になります。それだけのものをこの程度のものにまとめてしまうのは、あるいは暴挙と言えるかも知れません。

しかしシルバー・バーチは単純で基本的な真理───いやしくも思考力を具えた者であれば老若男女のすべてが理解できる真理をくり返しくり返し説いたのであって、決して二千ページも要するほど難解な哲理を説いたのではありません。

私はこれまで紹介したものだけで十分シルバー・バーチの言わんとしていることは尽くしていると確信します。

　願わくば読者諸氏が、シルバー・バーチが繰り返し繰り返し説いたごとく、それを繰り返し繰り返し味読されることを希望します。恩師の間部先生がよく、霊界の前売券を買っておきなさい、と言われたのを思い出します。

　地上生活はその選択の連続といってよいでしょう。選択とその結果、つまり作用と反作用が人生をおりなしていくのであり、同時に又、寿命つきて霊界に来た時に霊界で待ち受けている新しい生活、新しい仕事に対する準備が十分できているか否か、能力的に適当か不適当か、霊的に成熟しているか否か、といったこともそれによって決まるのです。単純なようで実に複雑です。

　そのことで忘れてならないのは、持てる能力や才能が多ければ多いほど、それだけ責任も大きくなるということです。地上に再生するに際して、各自は地上で使用する才能についてあらかじめ認識しております。

才能がありながらそれを使用しない者は、才能のない人よりはそれだけ大きい責任を取らされます。当然のことでしょう。

　悲しみは、魂に悟りを開かせる数ある体験の中でも特に深甚なる意味をもつものです。悲しみはそれが魂の琴線に降れた時、一ばんよく眠れる魂の目を醒まさせるものです。魂は肉体の奥深くに埋もれているために、それを目覚めさせるためには余ほどの強烈な体験を必要とします。

悲しみ、無念、病気、不幸等は地上の人間にとって教訓を学ぶための大切な手段なのです。もしもその教訓が簡単に学べるものであれば、それは大した価値のないものということになります。悲しみの極み、苦しみの極みにおいてのみ学べるものだからこそ、それを学べる準備の出来た霊にとって深甚なる価値があると言えるのです。

　繰り返し述べて来たことですが、真理は魂がそれを悟る準備の出来た時初めて学べるのです。霊的な受け入れ態勢が出来るまでは決して真理に目覚めることはありません。こちらからいかなる援助の手を差しのべても、それを受け入れる準備の出来ていない者は救われません。

霊的知識を理解する時機を決するのは魂の発達程度です。魂の進化の程度が決するのです。肉体に包まれたあなたがた人間が、物質的見地から宇宙を眺め、日常の出来ごとを物的ものさしで量り、考え、評価するのは無理もないことではありますが、それは長い物語の中のホンの些細なエピソード（小話）にすぎません。

　魂の偉大さは苦難を乗り切る時にこそ発揮されます。失意も落胆も魂の肥しです。魂がその秘められた力を発揮するにはどういう肥しを摂取すればいいかを知る必要があります。それが地上生活の目的なのです。

失意のドン底にある時はもう全てが終ったかの感じになるものですが、実はそこから始まるのです。あなたにはまだまだ発揮されていない力───それまで発揮されたものより、はるかに大きな力が宿されているのです。

それはラクな人生の中では決して発揮されません。苦難と困難の中でこそ発揮されるのです。金塊もハンマーで砕かないとその純金の姿を拝むことが出来ないように、魂という純金も、悲しみや苦しみの試練を経ないと出て来ないのです。それ以外に方法がないのです。ほかにもあると言う人がもしいるとしても、私は知りません。

　人間の生活に過ちはつきものです。その過ちを改めることによって魂が成長するのです。苦難や障害に立ち向かった者が、気ラクな人生ばかりを送っている者よりも一段と大きく力強く成長していくということは、それこそ真の意味でのご利益と言わねばなりません。

何もかもがうまく行き、日向ばかりの道を歩み、何一つ思い患うことのない人生を送っていては、魂の力は発揮されません。何かに挑戦し、苦しみ、神の全計画の一部であるところの地上という名の戦場において、魂の兵器庫の扉を開き、神の武器を持ち出すこと、それが悟りを開くということなのです。

　困難にグチをこぼしてはいけません。困難こそ魂の肥しなのです。むろん困難のさ中にある時はそれを有難いと思うわけにはいかないでしょう。つらいのですから。

しかしあとでその時を振り返ってみたとき、それがあなたの魂の目を開かせるこの上ない肥しであったことを知って、神に感謝するに相違ありません。この世に生まれくる霊魂がみなラクな暮しを送っていては、そこに進歩も開発も個性も成就もありません。

これはきびしい辛い教訓には違いありませんが、何事も、価値あるものほど、その成就には困難がつきまとうのです。魂の懸賞は、そう易々と手に入るものではありません。
　　
　神は瞬時たりとも休むことなく働き、全存在のすみずみまで完全に通暁しております。神は法則として働いているのであり、晴天の日も嵐の日も神の働きです。有限なる人間に神を裁く資格はありません。宇宙を裁く資格もありません。地球を裁く資格もありません。

あなた方自身さえも裁く資格はありません。物的尺度があまりにも小さすぎるのです。物的尺度でみるかぎり、世の中は不公平と不正と邪道と力の支配と真実の敗北しか見えないでしょう。当然かも知れません。しかしそれは極めて偏った、誤った判断です。

　地上ではかならずしも正義が勝つとはかぎりません。なぜなら因果律はかならずしも地上生活中に成就されるとはかぎらないからです。ですが、地上生活を超えた長い目で見れば、因果律は一分の狂いもなく働き、天秤はかならずその平衡を取りもどします。

霊的に観て、あなたにとって何が一番望ましいかは、あなた自身にはわかりません。もしかしたら、あなたにとって一ばんイヤなことが実は、あなたの祈りに対する最高の回答であることも有りうるのです。

　ですから、なかなかむずかしいことではありますが、物事は物的尺度ではなく霊的尺度で判断するよう努めることです。というのは、あなた方にとって悲劇と思えることが、私どもから見れば幸運と思えることがあり、あなた方にとって幸福と思えることが、私どもから見れば不幸だと思えることもあるのです。祈りはそれなりの回答が与えられます。

何事も気長に構えることです。何しろこの地上に意識を持った生命が誕生するのに何百万年もの歳月を要したのです。

さらに人間という形態が今日のような組織体をもつに至るのに何百万年もかかりました。その中からあなた方のように霊的真理を理解する人が出るのにどれほどの年数がかかったことでしょう。その力、宇宙を動かすその無窮の力に身を任せましょう。誤ることのないその力を信じることです。

　解決しなければならない問題もなく、争うべき闘争もなく、征服すべき困難もない生活には、魂の奥に秘められた神性が開発されるチャンスはありません。悲しみも苦しみも、神性の開発のためにこそあるのです。「あなたにはもう縁のない話だからそう簡単に言えるのだ」───こうおっしゃる方があるかも知れません。

しかし私は実際にそれを体験してきたのです。あなた方よりはるかに長い歳月を体験してきたのです。何百年でなく何千年という歳月を生きてきたのです。その長い旅路を振り返った時、私は、ただただ、宇宙を支配する神の摂理の見事さに感嘆するばかりなのです。一つとして偶然ということがないのです。

偶発事故というものがないのです。すべてが不変絶対の法則によって統制されているのです。霊的な意識が芽生え、真の自我に目覚めた時、何もかもが一目瞭然と分かるようになります。私は宇宙を創造した力に満腔の信頼を置きます。

目前の現象だけで永遠の生命を判断しようとするのは、小学校時代の成績だけでその人の全生涯を判断しようとするようなもので、とんでもない話です。

中学、高校、大学と進み、そして社会人となってから、それまで夢想だにしなかった体験を無数に積み重ねていくように、地上生活を終えて霊界に来てから霊的進化を遂げるにつれて、それまで夢想だにしなかった素晴らしい世界を見るようになります。

そして地上で叶えられなかった数々の望みが叶えられます。その段階に至るまで、神に文句を言ってはいけません」

絶対不変の法則ー因果律

　前章ではシルバー・バーチと名告る高級霊を中心とする霊団が神界からの使命を受けて、霊媒モーリス・バーバネル氏の口を借りて神の摂理を説くに至った経緯を述べました。

　その準備のためにシルバー・バーチはバーバネル氏の出生以前、それも母体に宿る瞬間から面倒をみたと言います。もちろんこれは霊言霊媒にふさわしい人間に育てるための面倒をみたという意味であって、私の推察では母体に宿る以前のバーバネル氏も実はシルバー・バーチ霊団の一人であって、使命達成について十分な打ち合わせを行った上で母体に宿ったに違いありません。一種の再生です。

　果たせるかな、氏にとって最後の記事となった一九八一年八月号の　Two Worlds　誌の遺稿の冒頭で、次のように告白しております。

　『私と心霊とのかかわり合いは前世にまでさかのぼると聞いている。もちろん私には前世の記憶はない。エステル・ロバーツ女史の支配霊であるレッド・クラウドは私にとっては死後存続の決定的証拠をみせつけてくれた恩人であり、

その交霊会においてサイキック・ニューズ紙出版の決定が為されたのであるが、そのレッド・クラウドの話によると、私は「こんど生まれたらスピリチュアリズムの普及に生涯をささげる」と約束したのだそうである。』 （巻末〝バーバネル氏の遺稿〟参照）

　約束どおり氏は十八歳から七十九歳までのほぼ六十年間をスピリチュアリズムひと筋に尽くしました。中でも特筆すべきことはサイキック・ニューズ社の社長を無報酬で務めたことです。正に奉仕の生涯であったわけです。

　再生については別に章を設けて詳しく取り扱いますので、ここでは難しいことは述べませんが、こうした滅私奉公の大役を担った人物は例外なく高級霊の再生とみてよいようです。

　もっとも、それでも尚かつ、うぬぼれや見栄、肉欲などのいわゆる〝人間的煩悩〟に迷わされて､使命の道から脱線していくケースが多いのです。とりもなおさず肉体というやっかいな欲望の媒体に宿っているからこそでしょう。

　オリバー・ロッジ　Sir Oliver Lodge の著書に　Phantom Walls　（幻の壁）という、あまり知られていない随筆調の論文集があります。幻の壁とはつまりは肉体の五感を意味し、これが幻にすぎない存在であるといっているのですが、言ってみれば仏教の色即是空の思想と相通じるものがあります。

　オリバー・ロッジはもともと物理学者ですが、後年は心霊科学者となり、さらに、単なる心霊科学からいち早くスピリチュアリズム的思想に転換し、晩年は哲人を思わせる洗練された心霊思想を説いています。それを如実に物語るのが右の書で、その中に次のような箇所があります。

　『われわれはよく「肉体の死後も生き続けるのだろうか」という疑問を抱く。が一体その死後というのはどういう意味であろうか。もちろんこの肉体と結合している五、七十年の人生の終ったあとのことに違いないのであるが、私に言わせれば、こうした疑問は実に本末を転倒した思考から出る疑問にすぎない。

というのは、こうして物質をまとってこの地上に生きていること自体が驚異なのである。これは実に特殊な現象というべきである。私はよく　「死は冒険であるが、楽しく待ち望むべき冒険である」　と言ってきた。

確かにそうに違いないのだが、実は真に冒険というべきはこの地上生活そのものなのである。地上生活というのは実に奇妙で珍しい現象である。こうして肉体に宿って地上に出て来たこと自体が奇蹟なのだ。失敗する霊がいくらもいるのである。

　霊界から見れば、肉体の死後にも生命があるのは極めて当り前のことであろう。言ってみれば地上の生命などは朝露のようなもので、日の出とともに蒸発してしまうはかない存在なのである。とは言え、生きているかぎり肉体というのは実にやっかいなシロモノである。

地上生活の困難の大部分は肉体の扱いにくさから生じているといってよい。肉体をまとっていくこと自体がまずやっかいである。そして、死ぬ時もまたやっかいである。その生から死への間もずっと手入れがやっかいである。が肉体がわれわれではない。少しの間───ホンのちょっとの間だけ使用する道具にすぎないのである。』


　古今東西の宗教が例外なく肉体的欲望を罪悪の根源とみなし、節制を説き、肉体を超越する修業の必要性を力説するのもむべなるかなと思われますが、それに関連してもう一つやっかいなことは、そうした重大なる使命の達成を妨げよう、挫折させようとする霊界の一方の勢力が鵜の目鷹の目で見張っているということです。

　そうした霊は人間のちょっとした心のスキ───よく魔がさすと言いますが、そうしたちょっとした邪念につけ入って、ズルズルと深みへと引きずり込んでいきます。

はじめの頃は純粋で謙虚で誠心誠意の人だった霊能者が、いつしか自分は神である、仏である、と言い出し、本来の使命を忘れて宗教としての勢力の拡大に躍起になり、権謀術数をめぐらすようになっていきます。

　中国の古い言葉に「聡明叡智、これを守るに愚をもってす」というのがありますが、その点バーバネル氏やテスター氏のように愚直なまでに寡欲で謙虚であることが、宗教家や霊能者としての第一条件なのでしょう。

　シルバー・バーチに言わせれば、地上の宗教は既成、新興の別なくことごとく落第だそうです。つまり人間的欲望というアカがこびりついて宗教としての本来の意義を失ってしまっている。そこでそのアカを洗い落とし、本来の神の摂理を改めて説き明かすのが自分たち霊団の使命だというのです。


　そこで本章ではその神の摂理とは何かという点に焦点を絞ってみましょう。シルバー・バーチはこれを「恒久不変の自然法則」Eternal Natural Laws と呼んだり「神的叡智」　Divine Wisdom　と呼んだりしていますが、これをつきつめれば「原因と結果の法則」、いわゆる因果律　The Law of Cause and Effect に収約されるようです。

　こう言うと「なんだ、要するに因縁のことだろう」とおっしゃる方がおられると思います。その通りです。しかしシルバー・バーチはこれに人間の霊的向上進化という目的を付加します。単なる因果応報の機械的なくり返しではなく、その因果律の背後に人間を向上せしめんとする神の配慮があると説くのです。

　それがある時はよろこびとして感じられ、ある時は苦しみとして感じられたりします。人間の真情として、不幸や貧乏、病気、災害といったものが無いことを希望しますが、それは今という刹那しか意識できない人間の狭い量見から出るわがままであって、過去、現在、未来の三世を見通した神の目から見れば、当人の成長にとってはそれが最上であり必須のものであるわけです。

　そうなると、いわゆる「因縁を切る」ということのもつ重大性を痛感せずにはおれません。切ることが大切だと言っているのではありません。はたして因縁を切ることが正しいことなのかどうか、イヤその前に、一体因縁は人為的に切ることが出来るものなのかどうかを真剣に考えなくてはならないということです。

　この「因縁を切る」という観念は、私の知るかぎりでは世界でも日本人だけのもののようです。そして、これは非常に広い意味、いろんな意味で使用されており、まずその整理から始めなくてはならないようです。

　たとえば何代にもわたって長男が自殺するという家系があるとします。「怨みの因縁だろう」──だれしもそう考えます。そしてそれは多分当っているでしょう。そこでその因縁を切るための手段を講じます。

　手段にもいろいろありますが、要するところ長男を自殺に追いやる霊魂、いわゆる因縁霊をつかまえて諭すなり供養するなりして改心させることになります。そしてそれがうまく行けば、大ていこれで「因縁が切れた」と思いがちです。

　がここまでの段階は因縁霊との縁が切れたということであって、その奥の因縁そのものが消えたとはいえません。もしかしたらその時期がちょうど因縁の消滅する時期だったかも知れませんから、それならば本当の意味で「因縁が切れた」ということになりますが、因縁霊もあくまで因縁という法則に便乗して動くコマのような存在にすぎないのですから、因縁霊だけを人為的に引き離しても、それだけで因縁そのものが切れたということにはなりません。

　では因縁そのものが自然消滅するまで手段を講ずべきでないということになるかというと、そうとも言えません。病気と同じで、生命の危険もあるほどの大病の場合は手術もやむを得ないことがあるように、人為的に因縁霊を引き離す術、いわゆる除霊の必要な場合もありましょう。

ただ、それだけで事足れりとする考えは過りであることを私は指摘しているのです。その奥の因縁そのものが残っているかぎり、また別の形で不幸や災厄が起こってきます。

　次に、自分に何のかかわりもない遠い祖先の残した因縁になぜ自分が苦しまねばならないのかという疑問が生じます。一見もっとものような疑問ですが、これはスピリチュアリズムの真髄を知らない人の抱く疑問といえそうです。

　自分とかかわりがないという考えそのものが根拠のない考えであって、実際は深い深い因縁の糸によってつながっているのです。

これは生まれ変わり、つまり再生の問題に関わってくる大問題で、これは次章でくわしく取り扱うことにして、ここでは要するに、縁のないものとの係わりあいは絶対にない、と述べるに留めておきましょう。シルバー・バーチはそれを次のように表現しています。


　『そのうちあなた方も肉体の束縛から開放されて曇りのない目で地上生活を振り返る時がまいります。そうすれば紆余曲折した、一見とりとめのない出来ごとの絡み合いの中で、その一つ一つがちゃんとした意味をもち、あなたの魂を目覚めさせ、その可能性を引き出す上で意義があったことを、つぶさに理解するはずです。』


　これは人生が有目的の因果律によって支配されていることを物語っているのですが、その「有目的」というところに注目していただきたいのです。

つまり宇宙人生が魂の向上進化という至上目的のために経綸されているということです。この点が従来の因果律の思想と本質的に異る点といえましょう。ではこれからシルバー・バーチにその点をくわしく説いてもらいましょう。


『あなたがたがスピリチュアリズムと呼んでいるものも神の法則の一部です。神は宇宙を法則によって統一し、法則を通じてその意志を表現しているのです。宇宙のどこをさがしても、法則の支配しない場所など一箇所もありません。

人間がこれまでに知り得た範囲に限りません。それよりはるかに大きい、人智の及ばないところまでも、完全に神の法則が支配しております。

　自然界の法則はいわば神の定めた法則です。およそ人間界の法律といわれるものには変化（改正）がつきものです。不完全であり、全てを尽くすことができないからですが、神の法律は全てを尽くし、至らざるところはありません。

偶然とか偶発というものは絶対にあり得ません。すべてが規制され、すべてが計算されているのです。あなたがたは肉体を具えていますが、これは一種の機械です。つまり肉体という機械をあやつりながら自己を表現しているわけです。

かりに悩みを抱いたとしますと、それは水門を閉ざすのと同じで、生気の通るチャンネルを失うことになります。つまりエネルギーの供給がカットされ、不健康の要因ができあがります。あなたがたがそのことに気づくまで、肉体は悩みと病気の悪循環を繰り返します。

　また悩みは肉体の霊的大気ともいえるオーラにも悪影響を及ぼし、それが心霊的バイブレーションを乱します。

悩みを取り除かないかぎり、心霊的エネルギーは流れを阻害され病気の要因となります。悩みや恐怖心を超越する──言いかえると自我のコントロールが出来るようになるには、長い年月と厳しい修養がいります。

　それも実は神の無限の愛と叡智から出た法則なのです。その悩みに費されるエネルギーを建設的な思考に切りかえれば、決して病いは生じません。神の法則は完璧です。

そして、あなたがたはその中の無くてはならない存在なのです。向上進化という至上目的のために必要な勉強のチャンスは、日常生活の中にいくらでも見出せるのです。


　私が法則を変えるわけにはいきません。原因と結果の法則は絶対であり、私がその間に入ってどうこうするということは許されないのです。ただ、そういう法則の存在を教え、そんな心構えでいては病気になりますヨという警告をしてあげることは出来ます。肉体は機械ですから、それなりの手入れが必要です。

手入れを怠ると働きが悪くなります。ですから時には休息させて回復のチャンスを与え、その本来の働きを取り戻すように配慮してやらなくてはいけません。神の法則はごまかしがきかないのです。

人間は肉体という機械を通して自分を表現しています。その機械にもエネルギーの限界があり、バッテリーに充電してやらなくてはならない時期が来ます。

それを知ってそれなりの手段を講じるのはあなた自身の責任であり義務なのです。なぜなら地上生活を生きる上で欠かすことのできない大切な道具だからです。

　私がいかにあなた方のしあわせを願っているとはいえ、あなた方に代ってその責任と義務を遂行してあげるわけにはいかないのです。心に思うこと、口に出す言葉、そして実際の行動、このいずれにも責任をとらされます。あくまで自分が責任を負うのです。

が、そのいずれも地上生活においては結局肉体という機械を通じて表現するわけですから、その機械が正常に働いてくれるように、ふだんから健康管理に気を配らなくてはいけません。肉体は実に驚嘆に値するすばらしい器官です。

地上でこれ以上の入り組んだ器官をこしらえることはまずできないでしょう。正に驚異といってよいものですが、やはりそれなりの手入れは必要なのです。


　もちろん法則と調和した生活を送っておれば病気も不快も苦痛も生じないでしょう。病気とか不快とか苦痛とかは自然法則との不調和の信号にほかならないからです。法を犯してその代償を払うか、法を守って健康を維持するか、そのいずれかになるわけです。

　人間の思想・言動において動機というものが大きなポイントになることは確かですが、法則を犯したこと自体はやはりそれなりの代償を払わねばなりません。動機さえ正しければ何やってもかまわないというわけにはいかないということです。

肉体を犠牲にしてまで精神的な目標を成就すべきかどうかは、その人の進化の程度によって判断が異ってくる問題ですが、ただ地上に生を享けた以上は、それなりの寿命というものが与えられているのですから、それを勝手に縮めることは神の意志に反します。

　たとえば人類愛に燃えた崇高な人物がいると仮定しましょう。その人が博愛事業のために肉体を犠牲にすることが果たして許されるかとなると、それはその人個人の問題であって一概に断定はできませんが、ただ残念なのは、得てしてそういう人の動機がはたからみるほど純粋ではないということです。

その腹の底にはオレは偉い人物だといううぬぼれがどこかに潜んでいるものです。それが無理な行動に自分を駆りたてる結果となっていることに気づかないのです。

　ひと口に法則といっても、肉体を支配する法則もあれば、精神を支配する法則もあり、霊的な法則もあり、それらが絡み合った法則もあります。

そうした法則を人間はもうダメだというギリギリの段階に至るまで気がつかないからやっかいなのです。なぜでしょう。人間と宇宙の真実の相（ｽｶﾞﾀ）を知らないからにほかなりません。要するにこの世はすべて〝物〟と〝金〟と考えているからです。

　が、そうした苦しみの末に、いつかは真実に目覚める時がやってまいります。自我の意識が芽生え、内在する神性が目覚めはじめます。これも実は神の因果律の働きの結果なのです。つまり苦しみが大きければ大きいほど、それだけ目覚める知識も大きいということです。

　別の言い方をすれば、神は宇宙の一ばん優秀な会計係と考えればいいでしょう。収支のバランスをきちんと合わせ、使途の配分に一銭の狂いもありません。あなたは受け取るに値するだけを受け取り、多すぎもせず、少なすぎることもありません。

その価値判断はあなたの霊的進化の程度を考慮した上で行われます。地上でごまかしやお目こぼしがきくようですが、霊的なことに関するかぎりそれは絶対に有り得ません。

　大自然の法則は完璧です。その背後には神の無限の愛と叡智が働いております。私たちがこしらえたのではありません。私たちはただその働きを知っているだけです。

原因があれば結果があり、その結果が新らしい原因となってまた次の結果を生んでいくという法則です。その間に何者も介入することを許されません。偶然もありません。幸運もありません。ただ法則があるだけです。

　法則が撤廃されるなどということも絶対にありません。執行の猶予も保留も妨害もありません。絶え間なく機能し、変化することも無く、また人為的に変えることも出来ません。法則の中から都合のいいものを選ぶことも出来ません。

絶対なのです。神とはすなわち法の極致であり、法の粋であり、いかなる力、いかなる情実をもってしても動かすことは出来ません。』
