人間は、地上を旅する間の出来事は、
どうしてもその肉体の生存期間を尺度として捉えます。
ところが死んで霊界に戻ってくると観点が大きく変わり、
地上時代の出来事が実に些細なことであることに気づきます。
地上の一世紀は永遠の時の中では一瞬の花火のようなものに思えます。
そして、地上の時間にして何日、何か月、
何年にもわたる苦しみもどうということはないように
思えてくるものです。
どうかこの点を今後のあなた方の生き方の参考にしていただきたい。
霊こそ実在であり、全てのものに優先し、
全てのものが消滅したあとも残り続けます。
その霊の在り方こそ神が何よりも気遣うものであり、
肉体は地上を生き抜くための仮の媒体にすぎません。
多くの尊い人命を奪う大災害におけるそうした犠牲者たちは、
戦闘後の兵士のようなものです。
軍服はボロボロに破れ、あるいは千切れ、あるいは無くなっているかも知れません。
が、生命（いのち）は失っていない。
その姿を見て将校は軍服のことよりも生命があったことを
喜ぶものです。
